• BIOGRAPHY

Mara Dobresco, piano
Mara Dobresco has been the winner of numerous international competitions. She gives recitals in Europe, South America, Asia and United States. She also performs with orchestras in Europe. Mara Dobresco pursues her career as a soloist and, at the same time, is interested in the dramatic character of musical gestures; she takes part in numerous projects based on the links between theatre, literature and music. Her meeting with Pierre-Laurent Aimard and György Kurtag enabled her to discover the wealth of the contemporary repertoire and she has been exploring it ever since. Besides, she is practising the pianoforte under the teaching of Patrick Cohen and regularly gives concerts on this instrument.
Her record, devoted to the music of Clara and Robert Schumann (Longdistance Label) has met with unanimous acclaim from the critics.

Géraldine Dutroncy, piano

After studying at the “Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique” in Paris where she won three first prizes (piano, chamber music, accompaniment), Géraldine Dutroncy distinguished herself by winning several international prizes, as a soloist as well as a chamber muiscian. Passionately fond of contemporary music, accustomed to the most famous French and foreign stages, very much in demand from many composers, she performs with symphony orchestras (Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre National de Montpellier) and with prestigious ensembles such as the Court-Circuit Ensemble (the recording of the piano concerto by Marc Monnet has come out at Zig-Zag Territoires), the Itinéraire Ensemble, the Klangforum Wien and mainly the Ensemble Intercontemporain with which she often goes on tours.

Hélèné Colombotti, percussions

Hélène Colombotti has carried out her musical path under the teaching of M.Cerutti, F.Macarez, F.Jodelet, E.Sammut and R.Quellen. She won her prize at the “Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique” in Paris where she then pursued her studies at an advanced level and gained the “Avant-Scène”. She was also a finalist in the ARD competition in Munich. She appears with groups such as the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Ensembles Court-Circuit, SIC, TM+, Alternance, Musicatreize, and the Easter Festival in Deauville. For three years she has been working with Myriam Gourfink at the Royaumont Abbey within the scope of Transforme. Her mobilization for contemporary music and her ardent desire to work with today’s composers led her to become a member of the Mulitilatérale, Diagonal and Sillages Ensembles.

Elisa Humanes, percussions
Elisa Humanes got her degrees at the Real Conservatorio Superior in Madrid and the “Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique” in Paris where she carried on with her studies at a postgraduate level. She was offered a grant by the Tarrazi and Meyer Foundations and studies with J.Guillem (Spain), L.H.Stevens (United States), K.Hathway (Great-Britain), S.Gualda, M.Gastaud, F.Brana, E.Sammut, M.Cerutti, F.Jodelet and F.Stochl (France). She appears with several symphony orchestras in Spain, France and Switzerland; member of the Ensemble Musica Universalis she regularly cooperates with the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Ars Nova, Zellig, TM+ and L’Itinéraire Ensembles. As a soloist she often gives recitals and received the Interpretation Prize at the Collège d’Espagne in Paris. Her CD of contemporary music (“Entra Libra y Escorpio”) came out in May 2007. She teaches percussion at the CRD of Issy-Les-Moulineaux where she gives classes as a fully-qualified professor of the Territorial Civil Service.
